Description

 

Brush and palette knife explode, producing the tumultuous waves that crash among the rock outcroppings of this custom commissioned work. One can tell how this is a special piece due to the time it took the artist give  blues to separate the different depth’s of water and horizon.  On reverse in ink: Painted for David Taylor 1960’s. Board measures 24×36 framed to overall size of 28×40. The Taylor family were friends with RA Mclendon and were responsible for the large swath of land know as “Taylor’s Ranch” in Florida. The Taylor family brought the Brahmam cows to Florida through central Florida.
